Sequencing & Matching Pack
10 PDFs · 100 printable pages
Instant PDF · Print A4 · 10–15 min · 10 booklets · Nothing ships
Matching, spotting differences, patterns and putting little stories in order.
10–15 minutes of screen-free calm your child will actually enjoy.
When you want a calm alternative to the tablet, looking-and-thinking pages are a lovely fit. Find the two socks that match, spot what changed, circle what comes next, number the steps of a little story. Each page asks your child to slow down and look closely, which is exactly the kind of quiet focus screens rarely give.
10 PDFs · 100 activity pages
Ten booklets that move from simple same-and-different matching, through shadows, halves, sizes and before-and-after, to patterns and three- and four-step picture stories.
Why you'll like it
- Careful looking, built in: matching, shadows, halves and spot-the-difference pages help your child notice small details.
- Thinking in order: before and after, what comes next, patterns and picture stories build a feel for sequence and cause and effect.
- Hardly any writing: most answers are a circle, a line or a number, so pages feel doable and calm from the first go.
How it works
- Print the booklet you want, or just one page. Each page is a single activity.
- Sit together with a pencil and a few crayons. Most pages are circle, draw a line, or write a number, so there's very little writing.
- Give it 10–15 minutes. One or two pages is plenty. Stop while it still feels like fun, and use the little "How did I do today?" faces at the bottom of the page to finish.

What's inside
- Matching Pairs — Join pictures that are the same, find the matching toy and ride, pair up socks, spot the twins in a row and count how many match.
- Same and Different — Same or different, odd one out, find the different one or the different colour, spot 3 and then 4 differences, and circle everything that's exactly the same.
- Shadows and Halves — Match pictures to their shadows, find whose shadow it is, spot the odd shadow out, join two halves and pick the half that finishes a picture.
- Things That Go Together — Things that belong together, what you need for a job, animals and their homes, mums and their babies, and where each thing belongs.
- Big and Small — Circle the biggest and smallest, bigger or smaller, put three and then four things in size order, the tallest tower and the longest crayon.
- Before and After — What came first and what came after, join before pictures to after pictures, and write 1 and 2 to show what happens first and next.
- What Comes Next? — Pick what comes next in a row, groups that grow by one, what happens next, fill the gap in the middle, and shapes that turn or change size.
- Patterns — Finish a pattern, colour to complete it, fill the gap, find the mistake, growing dot patterns and naming patterns as AB, AAB or ABC.
- Story Time: 3 Steps — Put three-picture stories in order, find what happens first and last, match pictures to step numbers and read short captions to order them.
- Story Time: 4 Steps — Four-step picture stories: number them in order, find the next or missing step, read captions to order them and pick the row that's the right way round.
